Corrective Actions and Recall of CPSC Sample Number 24-800-1701 

                                     Euqee Wintergreen Essential Oil 118mL (Subject Products)

Dear Customer,

 

On August 20, 2024, we received a notice from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.，The document states that our EUQEE Wintergreen Essential Oil contains methyl salicylate, which requires child-resistant packaging under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The packaging of this product is not child-resistant and presents a risk of poisoning if a child swallows the contents.

 

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA), our company has decided to recall the products described in this notice to eliminate product hazards and protect the interests of customers.

 

1. Recalled product information:

This recall involves Euqee Wintergreen Essential Oil Bottles.  The bottles come in a black rectangular box with a gold/silver border and are labeled on the front with “EUQEE”, “Essential Oil”, “Premium Quality Guarantee”, “Plant Essential Oil” and come in one size of 118 mL. The back panel contains directions for use, ingredients, warnings, and the manufacturer’s identity. The packaged bottle’s glass is amber, has a black screw-on cap, and is labeled on its front  with “Euqee”, “Essential Oil”, “Premium Grade” “100% Pure Plant Extract”, “Wintergreen.” The back panel contains safety disclosures, storage instructions, and the manufacturer’s identity.

 

 

2. Specific content of the recall measures:

Remedy: Refund

Consumers should stop using the essential oil immediately and contact DLWL-US for information on how to return the product to obtain a full refund. DLWL-US and Amazon.com will contact all known purchasers directly.
